Preliminary Plans for the New Town Hall.
A well and holding tank will be added to provide for a standard bathroom in the new building. These improvements have been made possible by the donations of a generous, but anonymous, local resident.
The structure will be built on a concrete slab with 2 x 6 sidewalls, metal siding and metal roof.
Financing will come from current revenues, private donations, and a grant. Approximate cost will be published as soon as it is available. No tax increase is anticipated. If you would like to contribute, please contact the Clerk, at 608-383-9892.
Ballpark
Located at 18751 County Highway Z about one mile south of State Highway 56 is The Gillingham Ballpark. This scenic treasure is owned and maintained by the Town of Marshall. It includes a shelter house with kitchen, picnic tables, and a lighted ballfield with bleachers. A beautiful trout stream, Fancy Creek, borders the property. To reserve the shelter or kitchen, call the Clerk. There is a portable toilet but no running water or electrical hook-ups.
